R.M. Berendsen

Robert M. Berendsen (1966) studied International law at the University of Amsterdam. After graduation he completed Dutch law at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. From 1995 until 2004 Robert worked at Boekel De Nerée Advocaten, Notarissen, Belastingadviseurs. During this period he set up and managed a debt collections department. He was later appointed Project Manager IT Solutions due to his passion for and knowledge of Information Technology and programming. In this position he was responsible for innovation of technologie with Boekel De Nerée. Under his management several technological developments were implemented. Robert was sworn in as a solicitor in 2005 and in his practice assists both entrepreneurs as private individuals in the field of rent law, employment law, corporate law and debt collection. In addition, Robert is chairman of the Board of Appeal of the Dutch Association for Acupuncture and he is a member of the board of the Confederation of Advocacy for Persecution Victims. Robert speaks and writes English and French besides Dutch. Robert also speaks a nice word of German, Portuguese, Hebrew and Spanish.

L.M.J. Pelswijk

Solicitor

Lorenzo M.J. Pelswijk (1983) studied Dutch law at the Universiteit of Amsterdam where he received his masters in Civil Law. During his studies he did an internship with the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in The Hague. After the completion of his studies, Lorenzo worked at a law firm and gained the necessary litifation experience at a bailiff’s office, before becoming a solicitor. Lorenzo was sworn in as a lawyer in 2012 and in his practice he assists both entrepreneurs and private individuals in the field of rent law, employment law and the Debt Restructuring for Natural Persons Act. In addition to his passion for law, Lorenzo is an avid football fan. That’s why he did an internship at Pro Agent and is a member of the disciplinary committee of the Royal Dutch Football Association west I since 2012. Lorenzo speaks and writes English in addition to Dutch.

Sara Berendsen (1998) studies Dutch law at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. Sara works next to her studies as a paralegal with Mr. Berendsen solicitors and performs support activities for the solicitors. Sara speaks and writes English in addition to Dutch.
